Harry Potter

(1)...The theme of Choice and Chance: How does Harry Potter discusses the antithetical concepts of ‘choice’ and ‘chance’?

The choices made in the novels are not all for the good Petter Pettigrew makes the choice to betrays his friends and thus forever casts his lot with the forces of evill .In this way over and over again in the novels it is made clear that is a person's choice and actions that are the defining elements of his moral character. It is not our ancestry social rules or wealth that makes us who we are. It is our choices that show what we truly are far more than our abilities.

(2)....Moral and Philosophical reading of Harry Potter:

Novel is not only for childish literature but it presenting some philosophical and moral ideas we can see in this novel it is all about story of black magic ,and wizards and muggle women wizards and witches may be magic born but find themselves to be possessed of magic power.at the end of all they will recieve a visit from ministry of magic advising them of their special qualities. In that way this novel is all about magic, and miracles but it also creating political ,and corropted world love &death power etc.
Conflict between good and evil and our ambitiousnes and obsession for power. But when we look at matter of poetic justice we can see that Good is triumphs over evil.

(3)Children’s Literature and Harry Potter:

Harry Potter books are quality literature, popular fad or a bit of both. There is certainly no consensus on what even constitutes “quality literature,” but there is lively dialogue.
One thing that is clear is that Harry Potter has impacted young readers and the publishing industry in profound ways. Hillary Crew suggests that the series has been “magic” for many young people who have, over a number of years, whittled their own wands, dressed up in “invisible capes” and acted out their own versions while going on to read a great deal more of everything. Kids are not the only ones who have read and reread these books with passion.
Some have suggested that though reading is often a solitary experience, many of us read Harry Potter as part of a community, discussing, interacting, writing fan fiction. Rowling has seemed acutely aware of her audience and has interacted with that community of readers increasingly through the text as the series went on. (Ebony Elizabeth Thomas)

The Sense of an Ending

As a part of our study we have completed the reading of the novel "The Sense of an Ending" by Julian Barnes. Here I discuss my views regarding this novel. [Click here to see the original task.]

1. Title :

The title of novel sense of ending is an appropriate because it telling the story of an old man Anthony Webster who is near the end of life his journey .
He feel Nostalgic about the past As human. Near their end they memories Youth full days same way we. Can see in the Novel Old man and the Sea Santiago's Dreaming always fighting .and lion fight for younger days .
In this way title is decent and it suitable for the Novel .

2. Possible reason of Suicide of Adrian Finn:

In this Novel suicide is an interesting idea and debate . The suicide was every free person's right; A logical act when faced with terminal illness or senility ( Medical Suicide ) Heroic suicide those soldiers and Warriors who die for country and Not regret to die no fear of death they die with smiling face . And Spiritual suicide ( taking samathis )
And Delineate attempts to suicide such as Bhahgat Singh . In this way when wee look at Adrian's suicide we can think about all reason and kind of suicide In this way in broader sense we can see suicide as a positive idea to end up life but may be it is escapism . Adrian Had explained his reasoning for suicide that life is a gift bestowed without anyone asking for it that that thinking person has a philosophical duty . That is possible reason for Adrian's suicide .

3. Missing block some dot which is not getting connected with the novel .

There are some questions does not answer by Novel raise in my.mind which is not getting connection
Such as;

Why Mrs.Ford has Adrian's Diary?

What was the intonation of Veronica's write BLood Money ?

What is meaning of Veronica's statement " You still don't get it .You never did you never will Stop even thing ".

Above questions answer not find properly during reading of Novel.

Thank You.

Image result for feminism Feminist Theory In Applied to Play

Feminism is a philosophy and it’s application in literature is relatively new area of study . the basis of the movement both in literature and society,is that the Western is fundamentally patriarchal .
The social movement of feminism found its approach to literature in the 1960 of course. Women had already been writing and publishing for centuries but the 1960s saw the rise of a literary theory until then ,the works of female writers were examined by the same standards as those male writers women were thought to be intelligent and many women accepted that justice .it was not until the feminist movement was well underway that woman began examining old text to reevaluated their portrayal of women and writing new works to fit the “Modern Women”.
The feminist approach is based on finding suggestions of negative attitude about women within pieces of literature and exposing them Feminist are interesting exposing elements in literature and exposing that have been dissected as the norm by both men and women.
The west have been dominated by men whether they be the politicians in power or the historians recording it all western literature reflects a masculine bias and consequently represents an inaccurate and harmful image of women.

Arnold's concept of ' Deatachment'

Image result for mathew arnold quatations

Matthew  Arnold’s relevant idea;

In which I like an   interesting   idea that is Arnold’s concepts of   “ Disinterestedness “.
It’s   my personal thinking   that” Detachment” is much required for a critic to pass any statement
And any   judgment on literary work .Critic’s   duty should be like an Umpire of cricket match,
Critic has to pass any judgment   without any partiality and barrier, freedom of pass own Opinion   and it   should   be free from   personal   evidence .
That is very basic moral duty of critic.
These ideas are more interesting and acceptable for relevant   time .

2 .Arnold’s “Touch stone method “is not acceptable in contemporary time .
Because work never present alone it brings some   sentiment   ,and tradition of their time .
It may be contemporary writing is appropriate now and that written thing   applicable  .
At that time no need to compare between classical and Modern or contemporary with previous
Nothing is classical but just demand and tradition of time that may be complicated to prove  .
And generation to generation increase changes.

Movie Review on The Birth Day Party.

Movie Review: on The Birth Day

In the scene in which Stanley,  attacked on Lulu and second is Lulu starting fluting with one man in that scene from the movie we can say abuse  t women by men.

Yes .movies giving effect of menace because of audio visual and many scene we can feel it from beginning to end of movie most of characters are suffering from fear with various noisy atmosphere ,while reading of text someway it not effectively because it dependable on our visualization so ,i think movie gives it effectively on viewer's mind by audio effect and lot of noisy sound suddenly ,listen many time .

yes , we feel it while watching movie somebody ,come and knocking the door ,people shouting on each other ,other noise of city life vehicle ,expression of an actors by all this thing become successful to effect of lurking danger in play. But text reading ids might be in other perception and depend on consciousness of reader

Petey reading newspaper to Meg has insisted him Meg has short memory so she forgot easily reality ,so Petey tries to remind in front of her.

yes when camera positioned on head of McCain  who playing blind man's buff and when Stanley playing it . Someway we can see this thing tries to hide a reality and focus on it in this scene camera highlight it by throwing some focus dark corner of human being.

Yes ,it happen in the movie while two person come ,drum gifted to Stanley and some other scene we can connect that some basic elements and unpredictable dialogue with the movie
.

yes movie help in better way to understand because of some lively scene creating in movie such as ;Pause ,silence ,menace lurking ,and picturesque while reading of text it just remain limited to given in bracket, but to see in movie it impacted on viewers mind very effectively so in this context we can say movie is provide decent atmosphere for scene which ids creating in the play.

i am agree with first observation “it probably wasn't possible to make satisfactory film of Birthday party”.

Because it is too much complicated to give any general statement regarding to movie review because each person has different point of view so and perception so some are appreciate and some criticize so,it contradiction way people justifying .

In choice of actors is also important to find out suitable characters for playing but if i got chance as director i more focusing on camera position to highlight important parts because of camera playing very significance role in making movie a small things highlighting and more meaningful point as director want to convey important parts of his analysis.

Tradition and Individual talent byT.S.Eliot

Tradition and Individual Talent by T.S.Eliot.

1)Yes I’m agree with Eliot’s view. Tradition does not means that the close adherence to the literary tradition of the past. The tradition means-the past and the literary tradition means the work of writer and their writing style.

The every writer contributes his talent in the tradition. It is the tradition with which we compare our present writer and find newness in present work. It is simple that we come to know about the c behange because there is something that we call past.

2) Historical sense is the most of important to understanding Book. It plays a vital role. This historical sense which is a sense of the timeless as well as temporal and of the timeless and of the temporal together is what makes the writer traditional. The quote means what is the importance of tradition is always far from the immortal and timeless.

3)According to T.S. Eliot tradition and individual talent is not separate and cannot be different  because it get together individual talent is revealed by writer and his work and learning process is not inherited.

4) The quote describes that everyone should work hard. We find distinction between knowledge and pedary, some becomes destinate by their power of technique or observation. For example Meera, Narsinh Mehta Tulsidas.

5) To this quotation we can say that poetry cannot be judge by its poet but any kind of literature there is central point is poem and not poet himself. We judge the intention of the poem through its words not by the biographical history of the poet.

6) The theory of depersonalization is becomes very simple with the help of the example of chemical reaction. And  like to apply the same. In the second part of the essay he gives an example of the chemical reaction to explain his theory, the chemical process seems to very similar to that of the poetry. If we compare the chemical elements with abstract things from the poet's life.

7) According to T.S.Eliot man who imagine and the man who suffers both are different. The poet writes the poetry keeping his personal emotions and feelings. In another words in one body two persons are lives. In a way the above quote describes the poetry written by him is not the expression of his personal emotions but escape from emotions feeling.

8)T.S.Eliot as critic and he given some ideas to understanding new criticismTo understand betterway. In short we may say that he comes with new idea to judge literature and it is also complicated one .

The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthrone
The Novel The Scarlet Letter had been written by Nathaniel Hawthrone. In this Novel focus on dark side of an American Puritan society .

Stopping by Woods On a Snowy Evening
Robert Frost was one of the leading poets of American Literature . Frost was an American poet who depicts about rural life in most of his poems . He received four times Pulitzer prize for poetry.
Critics say that Frost was a poet of plains , mountains and rivers, woods and gardens , fruits and flowers seeds and birds.
Cleanth Brooks point out :
Frost best poetry exhibits the structure of symbolic poetry much more clearly than does of many a modern poet”.
This poem is One of the most quietly moving of Frost’s lyrics. The poem starts with the question like
Whose woods these are i think i know”
Here the speaker sounds confuse or rather he is not confident about the owner of the woods. The illusion of the poet we can see here because as we know that god is everywhere through poet believes that the owner of the wood can’t see him.
Also the poem dealing with significance of duty. And it is more important in our life Nature is beautiful but we can’t be with nature because we are used to work and live materialistic life . and also applied meaning of the poem is about to Karma Yoga .
Here woods are symbolized as nature and Owner of the Woods are symbolised as God .My Little Horse is used for The Soul and Horse is a kind of tool to rich your destination.
“But i have promises to keep”
“And miles to go before i sleep”
These last two line suggest that death is the ultimate reality of the life but before that an individual has some duty to fulfil and words like “Miles to go” suggest the same thing that there are so many works and responsibility an individual has to complete before the end of this life .Here “Sleep” symbolizes death.Image result for stopping by woods
